THE TRUMPET - LA TROMPETA
The trumpet is a brass instrument (viento metal) that we play by making our lips vibrate against the mouthpiece. It has three valves that we use to play different notes. The bell amplifies the sound.
La trompeta es un instrumento de viento metal que tocamos haciendo vibrar nuestros labios en la boquilla. Tiene tres pistones que usamos para tocar diferentes notas. La campana amplifica el sonido.

THE SAXOPHONE - EL SAXOFÓN
The saxophone is a woodwind instrument. It has a reed in its mouthpiece. The reed vibrates when air goes through it. We press its keys to play different notes.
El saxofón es un instrumento de viento madera. Tiene una caña en su boquilla. La caña vibra cuando pasa el aire por ella. Las llaves se aprietan para hacer las diferentes notas.
THE ORGAN
The organ is not considered as a woodwind or brass instrument. The organ player has to press keys and pedals to make air go through its pipes.
El órgano no se considera ni de viento madera ni de viento metal. El organista tiene que pulsar teclas y pedales para hacer salir el aire por sus tubos.
